| The
trigger to The
Littleport Society becoming aware of the link between
William Sylvester Harley, joint founder of the HARLEY-DAVIDSON
Motor Cycle Factory with the Davidson brothers was a copy of a
letter supplied by Kate Harley. Kate is the wife of John Harley,
grandson of William Sylvester Harley. Bruce Frost, a key member of The Littleport Society made this exciting discovery, when in August 1996, Kate HARLEY sent him a copy of a letter written on the 15th April 1893 by Mary FYSON of Victoria Street, Littleport, to her “dear Brother and Sister”. |
